The Asha Niketan is one of many Arks worldwide, in which people with y without disabilities live together. The aim is to give persons with mainly mental disabilities the possibility to apply themselves in the society as a full-value member. At the same time they should receive the required assistance and support that they need.

Field of Work: work with children and teenagers with disability, education and social affairs

Qualification: experience in dealing with persons with disability, adaptability, take delight in living in a community, disposition to learn Bengal, traineeship in a German Ark desirable, command of English advantageous

Function of volunteers: daily assistance and support for the people living in the Ark, conveyance of knowledge and abilities for the daily live, according to the interest and qualification it is possible to implement own ideas for projects in consultation with the local staff
