LVDC offers a vocational training to young persons with disability (in the group aged from 10-25 years) in the following areas: woodwork and wood processing, metal processing (above all production of wheelchairs and other facilities, tailoring. In the centre further there are taught sign language and braille for teenagers and their families. There is also provided information on the topic disability.

Qualification: experience in dealing with persons with disability, openness and commitment, independence, intercultural sensibility, disposition to learn Kiswahili, basic knowledge in the area of occupational/social rehablitiation advantageous
Function of volunteers: support e.g. in the areas arts, crafts etc. , communication with the pedagogic staff, implementation of own ideas for projects in consultation with the local staff
