Cuenca – Feria Libre
The Fundación El Arenal is a project for working children in the biggest Market Feria Libre – El Arenal of the Andean town Cuenca. With their work the children have to contribute to the family's earning. With pedagogical, medical and psychological offers the project facilitates the children's development in order to prevent an impending disability and to keep them from becoming street children. Focal points of the work are education, health and nutrition such as the social cooperation with the families, the local schools.

Function of volunteers: help with the homework and in the pedagogic workshops, food distribution, planning and accompanying the free time activities
