ASOCIEPAD is a self-organisation of families. The aim is to contribute to the development of persons with disability and to advance their abilities best possible. They shell have the possibility to use the local public offers like all the other citizens do. At the same time they shell get the special support they need. The basis is the concept of community based rehabilitation (CBR).
Field of work: work with persons with disability, education and health
Qualification: experience in dealing with persons with disability, command of English advantageous
Function of volunteers: depending on interst and qualification assistance in the early support or in the preschool and the Primary School, in the career orientation and inclusion in the job, accompanying of persons with disability in their social surroundings, sensitisation for the community concerning the needs of persons with disability, support in the foundation of an encounter group/local organisation for persons with disability

Departure: between July and October
Stay: 12 months (in exceptional cases 10 months)
